From loyal clients to colleagues and practitioners who I now consider good friends - I can confidently say that the business has grown from hard work, building connection, and sharing a love of education that empowers people to move and feel better. After a decade of working in other studios, school halls and physiotherapy clinics, I took on the current studio & began growing a teaching team and a community that I am very proud of.More recently, in August 2025 after a long period of evaluation, I became Assistant Faculty for BASI Pilates so alongside running the studio I assist teaching students to become Pilates Instructors. I have assisted teaching Faculty in SE Asia and in the UK and I hope that once I complete the process in 2027, I will be in a position to run BASI workshops and courses right here in Sussex.

Michelle Holt
PIlates Instructor BASI Pilates
Michelle discovered Pilates whilst living in Shanghai over 10 years ago. She was working long days hunched at a desk and also did a lot of cardiovascular exercise. She quickly felt the benefits of a regular Pilates practice and was inspired. She began her journey with BASI in 2015 whilst living in the US, and when she returned to London in 2017 Michelle juggled her Pilates training with her PR job.In 2021 Michelle found Zoe who helped her prepare for her BASI exams and quickly became Zoe’s first team member when the studio opened in 2022.
Michelle really enjoys helping all of her clients - irrespective of age or ability, she loves to see the improvements in their overall health and wellbeing while finding enjoyment in Pilates.

Tracey Simmonds
Pilates Instructor BASI Pilates/ Pilates Unlimited SA
Tracey has been teaching exercise since 2008. She completed the BASI matwork certification in 2017, followed by the comprehensive equipment programme with Pilates Unlimited in Pretoria, South Africa. Initially drawn to Pilates as a useful form of cross-training to bolster skills in other pursuits it soon became apparent to Tracey that Pilates was much more than just a system of physical exercise. Tracey has an appreciation of the scientific elements of Pilates which unites her love of the creative side of Pilates, specifically the use of relatable language and the conjuring of imagery to build an understanding of one's own body.
